It all started in New Jersey with a little bit of curiosity and whole lot of passion. Our mission is to promote a healthier lifestyle. For us to do that, we made it our priority to only carry safe to use products. We know how hard it is to choose which CBD provider with all the choices you have in front of you, that is why our products are made with natural/organic ingredients. Your health is what you put first, the same way you put us first for your CBD needs.
This project was about providing healthier alternatives. We believe very highly in the holistic approach. Our overall goal is to eventually sell our products worldwide and remain affordable while staying true to our roots and making the effort to form a deep connection with all our clients.

Patrick learned about CBD and quickly realized its potential benefits to the human body. Doing extensive research, attending expos, seminars, meeting and speaking to those in the CBD industry, inspired him to want to share the benefits of the natural cannabinoid with others. Upon realizing that there were products being marketed to contain CBD but not have any amount of CBD in them, led to the start of TrueRoots in an effort to provide people in need with premium quality CBD products that people can trust and enjoy. Building the company on core foundational values inspired from both his personal life and career, he hopes for TrueRoots to one day be a household name in the CBD industry.
About The Owner
The founder, Patrick Joseph Chinjen, also known as PJ amongst his friends and family, is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant practicing in the state of New Jersey. He always wanted to help people and has found his career to be extremely rewarding. Having experience in the healthcare field, he has helped many who suffered from physical ailments and dysfunctions while building lasting relationships with his clients. Currently working at Cornerstone Physical Therapy in Clark NJ, he specializes in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation while also treating those who are physically unable to go to the clinic by visiting them in their homes and providing homecare treatments. With dedication, care and compassion, he earned the trust of his colleagues and clients seeking relief to return to their everyday activities of daily living.

Plaza 12 Physical Therapy launched over 25 years ago with one goal in mind: help as many people as possible in our community be pain-free. Through today, we keep this mission at the heart of every decision. We enjoy providing quality care, excellent service, and giving back to the community.
Here at Plaza 12 Physical Therapy, we deliver a treatment plan unique to each individual patient. Through one-on-one treatments with our Physical Therapist, we strive to not only relieve pain and increase functionality, but prevent future injury as well. We provide care to the surrounding community and their families, accepting most insurance plans.
Dr. Sukhmeet Singh, otherwise known as ‘Dr. Mickey,’ is the lead Physical Therapist at Plaza 12 Physical Therapy in Carteret, NJ. With a Bachelors in Science degree from Saint Peter’s University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University, Dr. Mickey specializes in orthopedic outpatient cases. He also has experience in inpatient and subacute care, and enjoys working with post-surgical patients, assisting them in returning to the activities they enjoy.
